Couldn't see this anywhere so I figured I'd make a board for it.

The Chiefs host the Hurricanes on Friday night (NZ time) before the Bulls host the Crusaders. I'm guessing most would be picking that home advantage will pull through for both sides and fair enough.

Personally I'd like the Hurricanes and Crusaders win, for obvious reasons. What would you guys like to see? What do you expect to happen?

And finally, who do you think will actually walk away with the competition?

Being the only SA team left, obviously i'm screaming for the Bulls. If a NZ team has to win it, i would want it to be the Chiefs. The Crusaders have not been the best team this season, and the Hurricanes are going to lose to the Chiefs anyway.

I think the final will be between the Bulls and the Chiefs at Loftus. With home advantage, i think the Bulls are in with a pretty good shot. I also think that they have been the best team thus far in the competition. They have a bit of a crisis at the moment in the centre position, which is not a good thing as the Crusaders are known for their backline play and counterattacking abilities.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see the Crusaders pull of an upset and win the competition again, but that would be ****.

So, I'm hoping for a Bulls vs. Chiefs final, with the Bulls taking the tournament for the second time.

I could actually see the Crusaders beating the Bulls, as well as the Hurricanes beating the Chiefs. Kahui is out for the Chiefs which means the mid-field is going to go the way of the Hurricanes.

I'm on my way up to Hamilton today to see the match. It's raining and cold as hell in Taranaki, although it always is. Here's hoping the weather's finer up in the Waikato.

As an Australian the S14 feels over for me. I wouldn't mind the Crusaders winning so the final is on at a decent time next week. I hope the Chiefs/Hurricanes can go all the way.

I wish the team names you were saying were Hamilton or Waikato.

How the hell ?

They're like R200 a pop (for the shitty seats).

******* :([/b]

My dad got em for me somehow through his work. Going to Braai at Affies High School in the morning, then going to the game later. Should be a monster! I will post photo's as soon as i can.

what an exciting game, finally i get to see the chiefs in a final... i started following them when they were the lowest finishing NZ team. it's great to see what they've become 6 or 7 years later.

i really hope the chiefs can go all the way, but either the bulls or crusaders are going to be tough. hope the crusaders get up so i can watch it at a reasonable time and so the chiefs are at home.

Freezed my ass off at the game. That fog came from nowhere. I was right in front of the Hurricanes and not even I saw the knock on. All I saw was the Chiefs and the fans going nuts.

Congratulations to the Chiefs, the 'Canes just weren't in their 22 enough and when they were, they'd stuff it up. Someone also needs to drill it into Tialata's and Schwalger's heads that they're props, if they're going to touch the ball it should be close to the ruck with two hands and a low body position.

Just as a sidenote, Donald is an absolute twat.

I started following the Reds when they were winning. 14 years later it ain't looking to grand.

Bulls v Crusaders is the first S14 match I've watched all season.

Yikes! Brilliant first half, and Bulls dominated the second. Smartest game from a #10 I've seen in ages.

Plus there were girls in tight denim cut offs.

What more could you want?

7 - 20 down I was getting very worried for the bulls but that was such an awesome game, Morne Steyn definitely deserves a Springbok jersey.

girls without tight denim cut offs :P

What a great game of rugby, if PdV doesn't choose Morne Steyn at fly-half for the Boks I'll do something very painfull to him! :gun_smiley: :gun_smiley: :ar15firing5de: :ar15firing5de: :box: :box: :inv3ox:

Chiefs will be a much tougher hurdle for the Bulls next week, should be much closer in the end then this game was.Bulls should still win

watching the bulls against the chiefs a few weeks ago and watching them last night against the crusaders... going to be tough for the chiefs.
