The best pack

England have best front row
SA have best 2nds
NZ have best back row
Probabaly some mixing and matching needing to be done but that should be a very dominant scrum

After watching the final id say NZs front row over england they were unbeaten in this WC for sure

SAF and ENG had the best packs and thats what got them to the final. The played defensive low risk rugby in the knockout rounds and jus waited for the opposition to make a mistake or afford them some territory then the kicked some points. In the end it was SAF forwards slightly ahead of England that won the final - mostly in the lineout where Eng were off their game a bit. SAF forwards had way more agression.

Southafrican pack was the strongest, you only need to watch how they won their games in RWC

Id say South Africa has the toughest pack.. but lets not mistake toughness with ability

I think the England pack could match the Kiwis, I'm not claiming they are superior like in 2003. The Kiwis have been superior since then, but England's pack is playing like a solid unit again, would be an interesting match-up. Pretty sure the Kiwis would run away with it a little, but the tussle up front would be a hell of a show. Its not just the scrum that the Kiwi pack does impressively, its the agression at the breakdown, which is awesome.

Can't say I agree at all.. The Kiwi forwards are super talented and play like backs. The english pack are brutes, but that is all they are with the odd exception.

Pretty easy one this really, the All Blacks destroy virtually every scrum they are up against. Think back to Durban earlier this year when they took apart the Springboks scrum, the only one in recent times thats stood up is the French.

Err South Africa didnt play defensive. Until the final the lowest amount of points they had scored in a match was 30 and overall scored around 3 times as many tries as England overall in the tournament.
