If get the chance to put a "world" backline together who woukd you pick? mine would go as follow:

9-B.Kelleher
10-S.Larkham
11.B.Habana
12.L.Mcalister
13.B.O'Driscoll
14.J.Rocococo
15.F.Steyn

Now who can stop a backline like that?

9-B.Kelleher
10-S.Larkham
11.L.Tuqiri
12.M.Giteau
13.B.O'Driscoll
14.J.Rocococo
15.M.Latham

pure awesome

Mine would be as follows

9. Kelleher
10. Larkham
11. Habana
12. Carter
13. Mortlock
14. Rokocoko
15. Latham

Crazy Kalluim
Mine would be:
9. F. du Preez
10. D. Carter/ if Wilkinson is on form like in 2003 he would be
11. B. Habana
12. L. McAlister
13. B. O'Driscoll
14. L. Tuqiri/ if Lomu could be like in 1995 it woul be him on 14
15. J. Lewsey

Now that is a huge backline

9. Fourie Du Preez
10. Dan Carter
11. Bryan Habana
12. Matt Giteau
13. Brian O'Driscoll
14. Lote Tuqiri
15.Chris Latham

9. Augstin Pichot

10. Dan Carter

11. Rupeni Caucau

12. Luke McAlister

13. Yannick Jauzion

14. Alesana Tuilagi

15. Chris Latham

Could someone please tell me what the heck McAlister is doing in all of those teams. Is he in there to try his little fancy passes that result in regular turnovers, or is it because of his cute little chip kicks/grubbers that continuously hands over possession for the other team.

McAlister isn`t anywhere near the playmaker that an even out-of form Giteau, Jaunzion or D`Arcy is. Heck, were he available for the Boks, he`d have only been my backup to De Villiers- although certainly way ahead of pretty boy Olivier.

Here`s mine: 9- Du Preez, 10- Carter, 11- Habana, 12- Giteau, 13- BOD, 14- Sivivatu, for both the pace and the power he brings to the party, and 15- Hernandez.

Something slightly different. No more than 1 player from a country :D

9. Peel (Wales)

10. Wilkinson (England)

11. Habana (South Africa)

12. Mortlock (Australia)

13. O'Driscoll (Ireland)

14. Rokocoko/Sivivatu (New Zealand)

15. Hernandez (Argentina)

9 - Dwayne Peel
10 - David Skrela
11 - Bryan Habana
12 - Tom Shanklin
13 - BOD
14 - Alesana Tuilagi
15 - Juan Martin Hernandez

9 - A Troncon (Italy)
10 - C Paterson (Scotland)
11 - B Habana (South Africa)
12 - A Henderson (Scotland)
13 - Mortlock (Australia)
14 - A Tuilagi (Samoa)
15 - C Heymans (France)

Now there's a back line and a half!!!!

9 - Peel
10 - Carter
11 - Habana
12 - Giteau
13 - BOD
14 - Rokocoko
15 - Hernandez

9 - Peel
10 - Hook
11 - Habana
12 - Giteau
13 - BOD
14 - Lamont
15 - Hernandez

Slightly altered for extra awesomeness.

Sorry but that's the least creative backline I've ever seen, and I support Scotland.

Please tell me you're trying to get the next "Comdey Genius" TRFie...

9-F.Du Preez
10-R.O'Gara
11-B.Habana
12-L.McAlister
13-BOD
14-J.Robinson
15-C.Latham

9. Kelleher
10. Carter
11. Habana
12. Henson
13. O'driscoll
14. Williams
15. Montgomery

Good selections, but can't understand why Kelleher's in there at all. Gregan, Mignoni, Ellisalde are all better. And if you want a bit of cheekiness, add the annoying Pichot. But Kelleher?

9. Du Preez
10. Carter
11. Hanbana
12. De Villiers
13. BOD
14. Tuqiri
15. Steyn

9 George Gregan

10 Dan Carter/Jonny Wilkinson if he was in 2003 form

12 Percy Montgomery

11 Bryan Habana

14 Daisuke Ohata

13 Tana Umaga :p or Brian O'Driscoll

15 Chris Latham

Now there's a backline that would rubbish any of the above I reckon! :D
