Arsenal v Boro today was awesome. Arsenal are always good to watch, and so were Boro today. Jimmy is playing v.well for them.

Reyes looks top class

Much better from CFC last night.

Thought Tiago was a dodgy signing at the time. Turns out he's amazing. Duff the magic paddy is still nowhere to be seen which is strange, him on the left, lampard on the right and Joe cole behind the front 2 will be fantastic.

Drogba was good, glad he scored. Kezman looks small but only a matter of time until he gets going I suspect.

Good to see Liverpool coming through the CL qualification.

Cisse's ****. Baros is average. Gerrard is on and off. Hyppia, Henchoz, Carragher and Riise are slow and rubbish. Benitez hates English players. Not looking too good for liverpool fc at the moment.

As for Chelsea, we have a new hero

Tiago, whhoa, he comes from Portugal, he hates the Arsenal.

Utter shite.

Cisse - Has a lot to learn about the English game. Scored more goals than Didier "£24 million, you're having a laugh" Drogba last season.

Baros - needs to get his head up. Far from average - we turned down a lot of money from Chelsea amongst others for him.

Gerrard - the country's top midfielder, and you know it.

Hyypia - Just because you're slow doesn't make you rubbish. One of the top three defenders in the country.

Henchoz - not the player he was, sadly.

Carragher - would tackle a double decker bus. See Hyypia's synopsis.

Riise - top left back in the North West by some considerable distance.

Benitez - Find him some English players who are good enough and are available at the right price, and Rafa will sign them.

All in all Woodie, I'd say that was a pretty stupid post, really.

Hardly a buzz of a activity on the transfer market, Rooney eventually signing for Man Utd, shock horror and Newcastle sacking Bobby Robson, it was coming really, pretty sad that he went the same way as Gullit, dropped Shearer and got the sack.

No, very quiet deadline day which saw very few transfers, Liverpool not adding the striker I hoped we would.

You must be fuming about the lack of a centre half Rob?

Couldn't believe the amount of wasted time over Rooney when what we clearly needed was a centre half, ideally Ledley King.

A good source has told me Spurs knocked back £18 million from Newcastle for King.

Great news for Newcastle we managed to get Graeme Souness as our new manager, whoop de feckin' doo.
<

He'll bring something Newcastle need very badly though Rob - discipline.

C'mon Manc City. They are very bad at the moment but I like the colour of their shirts. And they have Shaun Wright-Phillips, who is awesome.

No what we needed was a central defender and the board just arsed about trying to sign Rooney.

Can't believe Newcastle have Souness. COmplete fooking nutter. He almost broke Dwight YOrke's legs in training at Blackburn with a slide tackle, like he used to do in his playing days. Not a proven manager at all.

Football is too soft already, we want a bit of action.

Yorke should have moved quicker. Although looking at him on the pitch nowadays, I suppose there isn't much chance of that happening.
