Yep, no David Miller et al. and no Rob Ford. Previous Toronto councils couldn't find a penny they didn't want to spend on mostly nonsense and appeasing the public sector workers in the city, he was entirely a reactionary choice to the downtown crowd that had been running the city(and for the last decade the Province). The candidate who ran against him in 2010 Smitherman was an even worse choice for Toronto voters, disaster as an MPP and with his own personal issues to boot.
