On the 4th of March in the context of the Top 14, the Stade Français will host Biarritz Olympique at the Stade de France which will be full (almost 80 000 payed tickets) as it already happened when the Stade Toulousain came to Paris.

Some effort from the president to get these 2 games sold out at the Stade de France, another huge occasion awaits.

They wanted to host other games at this stadium or the Parc des Princes but it was either the PSG refusing to lend the Parc des Princes or other event already organised at the Stade de France.

It used to be quite good before the change of PSG President. The new one looks like not appreciating the collaboration that exists since s long time between the two clubs.

Surely it would make sense for the PSG president to have a better relationship, if Stade Français go ahead and redevelop the Jean Bouin there's a good chance that the Parc des Princes could host a number of games and PSG would make a fair amount out of it as well, if not he could see all the matches at Charlety or the Stade de France and he'll be left with nothing.

The Parc des Princes doesn't belong to the PSG but to the city. They have nevertheless a licence for exploiting the Parc des Princes which gives them this decision right. When it is renegotiated the term of the contract may change and they may not be able to prevent le Stade Français to get access to this stadium. I think that when hosting T14 macths versus Clermont or Perpignan they can fill up le Parc des Princes.

Could Stade Français ever afford to get the licence ahead of PSG?
Well, I don't think so. Football remains the predominant sport in France and in Paris. Even in Toulouse the biggest stadium is for the football team not the Rugby one. This year the renovation work of Jean Bouin is supposed to start. It will be come a modern 20000 seats stadium. Next season the Stade Français will play at Charletty during the renovation work.
