So, if there is a player who can play both, could the team reduce the number of Sub BKs from 3 to 2?

you dont have to have 3 anyway, the Highlanders more often than not go with a 6/2 bench, always with a specialist halfback

Schoolboy and young club rugby they tend to be interchangeable positions I think

He's an old Italy back row who had a stint at sh and it went awfully.

15 -- FB who can play as a FH
23 -- utility BK

9 goes to bench
10 plays as SH
14 plays as FB
15 plays as FH
