Thomas was a good player for Sale. Unfortunate to get so many injuries. Hopefully being apart of a professional setup like Wasps instead of Lyon (where he is played out of position at fullback) he can show some of the promise he did.
It's not particularly helpful of the bbc to headline this as 'Wasps swoop for Welshman Thomas'; that could be anyone.

the O'Leary to Perpignan transfer seems to have fallen through because Perpignan felt he was asking for too much money for what he was worth, they are now likely to sign Josh Valentine instead
