Doak probably hasn’t kicked on as much as expected, but I’d probably still have him as a reasonable contender for Ireland’s RWC squad as 3rd choice 9. Going to Sale would eliminate that entirely which makes me think it’s unlikely.

He hasn’t hit expectations but he’s actually been really good this year. Seems to have thrived on not having to compete with Cooney.

I agree I Would be surprised if he was let go. Think he would do well in the French game if he does ever move.

Sounds like one too bump up his value alright. Could see it if there was anything that remotely looked like an international quality 9 coming after JGP but Gunne is stalling and Casey is coming back to the pack.

9s and wings are a real problem in this country. Pretty confident in our ability to produce anywhere else.
