Taking out the best Aussie player in the 11th minute took them out of the game. The hip drop tackle on Pritchard was disgraceful. There’s a reason they’re banned in the NRL. He sustained a fibula fracture and a syndesmosis injury
You make it sound like he was trying to fracture his fibula.

Caught up on the game now. I thought we'd lost that by what you'd said Harry, and then that final disallowed try by Aus, and I was just thinking how did we lose this one. We were easily the better side, but some of our mistakes were criminal I have to say, especially at the end there. Turning the ball over twice just to hand it straight back and let them score to get back within 2.

They need to figure out how to secure the restart as it almost cost us another game. And we need to take more of our chances as we should have been about 30 up in the opening quarter if we didn't butcher a couple of guilt edged opportunities.

Snuck another one though!

Oh hahaha sorry, i just assume everyone knows the resultni think.

I agree, a lot of individual errors, i think theres a big gap between our best positions and our worst.

A few have already played some URC ball thosnyear, Bowen, Leggat Jones etc... i like Steffan a lot, that lump at lock looks tasty, i wonder if he will be able to make the step.

Traditiinally we are decent at bringing through some high skilled backs, and a few back rows, who spend their u20s jackling and fighting for every inch. Its the tight 5 who spend 2 seasons getting pumped by much larger players, and then really struggle to transition to senior ball.

Alex Mann had a similar problem, liiked like a superstar at u20, but it really didnt prep him for senior rugby, took him ages to get Cardiff starts.

Refused throughout for me; and still is.
Thankfully, my... erm... alternative site... is working fine.

Managed to join France NZ match shortly before half time - I didn't get to see NZ dominating anything beyond the stats shown up HT

England good value for their half time lead. But Seb Kelly massively let himself & the team down. Clear red card, assault level stuff & thankfully the Bok player was not hurt. A long & deserved ban awaiting him.
Despite the half time lead for England, the baby Boks are class & I think we will see them overhaul a 14 man England side & see then competing with France in the final.

You're all overreacting, I'm sure it's not that ba-

His idol must be Bakkies Botha
Deserves a very long ban

Yes, what a stupid headbutt.

What's happened?

Guessing @Quel Carreleur had the wrong thread and its serious.

Edit - Saw it. Dirty asf - he'll fit in well at Munster one day.
Oops.

As for Seb Kelly, that's potentially career ending for him. Full on high end ban coming, and a couple of years at this age is pretty unrecoverable.

ETA, okay, probably won't be that bad for him.
Top end for "strike with the head" is 16 weeks minimum and 104 weeks maximum, and there's plenty of room for potential worse, but I can't see him getting the minimum.
Maybe 32 weeks, down to 16 for good behaviour?

You need a VPN.
I need more than that - that's twice today I've simply posted in the wrong thread!

South Africa destroying England so far 2nd forty. It’s hard to explain how hard the test is playing with 15, but Seb Kelly’s moment of madness has cost everyone.

I’m not sure what awaits him, but the fact he was not worried about the level of injury he tried to cause the Bok player as he drove his head into him I would have little sympathy if this turns out to be the last time we see him involved in rugby.

Not sure the saffer was ever getting hands to that.
We'll see on replays.

ETA: yeah, he was - but was never, ever beating Pearson for it.
Yellow seems fair.
Upgrade also seems fair, however much I hate those.

14 v 14 for the last 14 minutes then

As a proud Englishman I have to admit I am in awe of South Africa both at baby Bok & first XV level. I absolutely thoroughly enjoy how they play the game.

Although Seb Kelly stole from us a wonderful competitive test match where we were proving a match to the Springboks to that point, I have really enjoyed the Boks in full flow!!!

Well done England for never giving up, but fully deserved Boks win & I look forward to what promises to be an absolutely phenomenal final!

Is that all?
That is remarkably lenient - even for a first offence, maximum reduction ban.

ETA: Mid range.
They decided it was MID range?
How the hell did they reach that decision? defenceless opponent, on the ground, after the whistle, and drives forwards with his legs in order to headbut the victim in the face - and that's MID range?

I agree, QC. I think it was 10 matches without full (50%) mitigation so 6 matches.

Unfortunately, World Rugby don't publish the full decision. Or at least they haven't yet.

Anyone else having difficulty convincing rugbypass to show the final?
Been stuck on "live broadcast starting soon" since final whistle on NZ v Eng

So much for a 5.00 broadcast!

ETA: Finally!

So far today, SA not showing that they've got anything more than a scrum
French handling and discipline meaning that that's all SA need to show.

They both have better than this if they can get their heads right

Penalty advantage for France just outside the Saffer 22, relatively central.
They play the advantage, and commit a ruck netry infringement 1-2m out.
And that's advantage over?

Seems inconsistent. Surely the "advantage over" points should have been scoring more than 3 points (or at least getting over the try line, whether getting the ball down or not)
