Because the PRL (and some club owners individually) have expressed an interest in getting some FTA tv coverage, and because BT are "lending" some of their staff to ITV for the RWC.

Well i'm glad that we are still going to be watching on terrestrial television for atleast another 6 years and better for people who can't afford the likes off bt sports or sky sports etc.
