Although not confirm these 2 names have be floating around the Sharks the pass few months. Apparently a clause in the contract of Fourie, Alberts & Ludik states the player can review their remuneration for 2010. That's how Fourie won his arbitration hearing, and now Ludik and Alberts look to leave the Union the same way. The Lions need to shoot their legal advisor who drew up these contracts!
I'm REALLY stoked that Ludik might be coming! :bravo: Class player

A source close to the Sharks team has confirmed that both Louis Ludik and Willem Alberts very much intend to join the Sharks ahead of the 2010 season.
Despite the favourable conclusion of Jaque Fourie’s arbitration hearing with the Lions union, there were suggestions that the appointment of Dick Muir to the Director of Rugby position in Johannesburg may have convinced Alberts and Ludik to change their plans.
We can confirm that both players are very much committed to moving to Durban and we expect an official announcement to follow in due course.[/b]
