upper body protection

i've come to realise that many wallabies and springboks wear upper body padding. the springboks use canterbury products. does anyone knoe if they are using honeycombed shoulder padding vests, or just the flat pieced vests.

and does any one know what type of protection does jimmy cowan wear underneath his all black jersey
