A lot of them were pretty clearly gaming social media for ad revenue

and then you scroll back through their social media and they're eating it on a Disney trip the previous summer and it turns out they're a travel/food blogger not some random football fan like they're pretending for the summer

At least you accept Trump is an awful human being. America is still a great place, though. Minus the guns, fentanyl and meth. Oh, and Christian nationalism.

We finally agree on something. I’m not on social media, but the compilations I saw on YouTube looked fake as hell.

Im like @dirty harry I don’t think really any politician is a good person. I stopped believing that around the same time I stopped believing in Santa Claus.

Bit of both tbh, some would take it in the spirit, but there would be some middle class luvvies upset...

Youll have a cracking evening on St Mary street in the bars definately, I wonder if Feran Torres took any **** for hos 'make spain great again' hat

I brought a few MAGA caps back last time i was in NYC recently, and I give them for presents, especially to some work colleagues... so.e have a riot with them, one woman sent me a video of her burning it, shes a bit.... radical and gets less invites to the pub than most

But that’s my point isn’t it. It’s about levels. Are all politicians “good”? Of course not. Human beings are flawed. Do most politicians stage coups to try and overturn election results? Do most say they grab women by the pussy? Have most engaged in the type of rhetoric he has about political opponents and the media? Have most been found liable for sexual abuse? Etc etc

So which is your gold standard?

Loads of politicians have done far worse than Trump, some are pro what Trimp has done, and loads would be far worse given the chance, if we could have a gold standard, your favourite we have a yard stick to measure him by.

Making the claim politicians are generally bad and untrustworthy, isnt the same as you making fake claim that that means they are all the same, thats just a lie to win an argument that hasnt been made isnt it?

I know you don’t care about democracy but some of us still do ya know.

The gold standard is Margaret Thatcher. It’s too bad she couldn’t completely fix the UK. But alas, she tried.

the current PMs can’t event get a winter fuel allowance decreased.

Well obviously, you admitted you don’t care about democracy. I’d take a chimpanzee with learning difficulties, which ironically is still more intelligent than Trump, over Trump. Coz, you know, I kinda like legitimate election results being upheld regardless of who wins them.

For you to say that shows me how little you understand about America.

I haven’t met a single person who hasn’t admitted that while a decent guy, Bush was a horrible president.

There’s a reason the Clintons and Bushes have been removed from the American political class. They were overall failures.

But keep living in 2003. We’ve moved over here!
