Well, looks like the Senate have decided to let Trump keep the immunity from any IRS auditing of him, his kids or the Trump organisation for any years prior to current. No doubt certain people will make excuses and try to somehow present this as not blatant corruption, but this is blatant corruption. If anything the president should be under the MOST scrutiny from the IRS, not granted any sort of immunity from it.

Bearing in mind this is a guy who has already had organisations shut down for fraud, who had banks refuse to lend to him due to fraud and who was in the middle of a fraud investigation prior to becoming president... He can hardly claim he's completely innocent and it has all been a witch hunt, and certainly can't claim he deserves immunity to all the fraud he has committed up to this point.

The Senate doesnt have the power to give Trump immunity from the IRS, so they havnt voted on his immunity whatsoever.

I think what your referring to is Blanche hold outs getting the concession they wanted to get rid of the anti weaponisation fund, and confirming Blanche for the permanant role.

Is that what you are referring to?

Why have you not mentioned the immunity being offered as part of a settlement in his suit against the IRS? Weird thing to fail to mention huh?

Your focusing on the wrong things, stop watching activist youtubers, read whats actually going on.

Go read up and we can discuss the actual issues, not the imaginary senate votes for immunity!

USA is all about barbarism and machismo when it comes to "law enforcement" - especially if the perpetrator happens to be non-caucasian.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The first people to cross into North America came into Alaska from Asia. Alaska is an American state. It is one of our 50 states. If you travel to Alaska and meet the ancestors of the people who crossed the Bering land bridge, you will be speaking to an American citizen, not a Canadian.

The US government recognizes 574 American Indian Tribes: https://www.usa.gov/indian-tribes-alaska-native. They are not First Nations people or whatever goofy word some NGO came up with or something the Canadian government invented.

Better yet, travel to Alaska and talk to these people.

You've never traveled to Alaska, and you're lecturing me about how it works or what language we use. It's comical. Next, you're going to start lecturing me about how Chicago works or what language we use to speak to each other.

I can't imagine how some of you interact in the real world.

You know that when the first people crossed into what is now called North America (NB this is not interchangeable with the US), it wasn't called America, the US was thousands of years from existence and Alaska was a few years behind that.

Even if you count recent immigrants, the Sicilians were behind the Spanish. If I cared it would be depressing that the level of ignorance is so high.

And unfortunately you converse in a mangled English

Secondly, no **** it wasn't the US. The point is, the first people who crossed are now American citizens and are subject to American laws. Therefore, we do not use made-up words like "First Nations People"; we use either the tribe name or Native Americans. Period. End of discussion.

The Sicilian comment was clearly tongue-in-cheek. Go back to playing Minecraft and leave the discussion to adults.

Not really Alaska wasn't a thing back then, indigenous people from the Canada and Alaska tribes are the same/similar stretching into Yukon and BC.

There is also growing evidence that there were settlers coming from the south some considerable time before the land bridge.
