Using a PC gamepad analogue stick?

Has anyone tried to remap sidestep and other moves to the right analogue stick on a gamepad controller yet?

Haven't got the game home to play the game yet but after reading the manual that seems to be one of the first things I'll want to change.

It was the same in 06 and no one seemed to come up with any solutions there so Im not hopeful.

If we can remap buttons I'd suggest switching the special moves buttons with the kicking buttons. Ie fend only requires pressing X (button 4) while grubber would require 7+4 (left shoulder + X). Then I'd make a normal punt the white or black button (I've got a 360 style gamepad).
