Wales Six Nations squad 2022

He's the best centre going forward that Wales have. He somehow seems to beat defenders when he has no right to. Wales seem to lack a bit of go forward but give him the ball and he will get you over the gain line.

Yeah, even with slow ball he can get you go forward. He's strong as well.

Yeah same. Haloholo offers the most in attack and is a decent defender. Get's over the ball well too on the jackle. There can be consistency issues and the odd mistake, but I think his positives far outweigh his negatives.

His biggest weakness is probably his long kicking game. He doesn't offer that alternative kicking option that can be so useful from 12. But then none of our options at centre do! Neither does our back 3 really.

Comparing that to the beginning of Gatland's tenure when we had Gav at 12 and Byrne at 15, that offered us so much flexibility to relieve pressure. Arguably with the 50/22 law having more kicking options would be even more beneficial atm.

Halalholo has picked up an eye lid laceration so not considered for Cardiff this week, makes him a doubt for England next week as well.

Expecting Faletau to be called up now.
.......................................
Turns out they did half an hour ago. :p

First carry of the game: Tuilagi trucks it up into Faletau

Both are stretchered off and aren't seen until summer 2023

Josh Navidi will play this week for Cardiff, wouldn't be surprised to see him called up next Monday.

Imagine he'll be on the bench against Ulster given his time away and the importance of the fixture for Cardiff, so it may be a week too early for returning against the French or being called in for someone else.

I stand corrected. Starting Navidi at 7 with Botham at 8. Surprised as thought he'd go with Ratti who has been in form and bring on Navs later on. Really hope he goes well as he came off pretty early in his first game back at the Arms Park at the star of the season.

I'm a bit disappointed that it's looking like Ratti is not going to get a chance this 6 nations. Might be on the bench vrs Italy but probably not.
