Looks like they're gonna get their sh*t together before the season starts, at least until this deal finishes  then we get to go through it all over again!

9 new players set to join Sam Warburton on WRU central contracts - Alun Wyn-Jones, Taulupe Faletau, Gethin Jenkins, Ken Owens, Alex Cuthbert, Scott Williams, Dan Biggar, Liam Williams and Gareth Anscombe.

Funding for them will be on top of the £6.7 million WRU funding shared between the regions, so regions should have at least a bit more in their pockets if the deal is actually sealed.

Nothing 100% yet, but future looking at least that bit brighter.

I imagine a lot has been debated about how to split these contracts fairly among the regions in order to avoid one team having all the Wales players and therefore all the dual contracts.

It will be interesting to read the details of the agreement on that point, as I feel it could put certain regions under pressure in the future. No doubt a positive move forward, but I'm very keen to see the fine print!

Liam Williams should be on a South African central contract.
Way too early for Anscombe too.
