What are you listening to?

For fans of gruesome tales you should Google poor Ronnie's music producing husband, Phil Spector. A murderous ghoul. She is probably lucky to have had such a long life.

I've been really missing live music and missed a couple of indoor gigs last year because it didn't seem particularly sensible. I'm optimistic that will change soon and that I'll be seeing Goldfrapp doing their 20 year old debut album in April.

Honestly ridiculous lineup

Thought I'd use the 6N as a feeble excuse to throw out a few of my favourite ditties from each nation. First up Scotland.

Probably considered the best pop voice in Scotland (Liz Fraser)

And a couple of current acts from Edinburgh

I think France will win this year's 6Ns: post Lions year and 3 home games. One for them and their attitude of not caring how crap they have played in the competition since they last won it.

I'm in.

Scotland

France

You spared me the humiliation of picking Fisherman's Blues for Ireland. The lead singer of The Waterboys is born and raised in Edinburgh!?

"It started up in Fife, it ended up in tears".
A Scotsman never twigged, in all these goddam years.

That is not an Edinburgh accent that he has cultivated, but I won't hold it against him as he has made some belters.
