I know it's a long way off, but who do you guys think will play in this 6 day test??

Might look something like this?

1 Fleming
2 Strauss
3 Dravid
4 Lara
5 Kallis
6 Flintoff
7 Sangakarra
8 Muralitharan
9 Pollock
10 Harmison
11 Akhtar

Yes, that looks like a very good team... excuse my biasm but McCullum could very well be challenging for the keeping role, very good keeper/batsman.

Although no NZers will even get a mention in when time to pick the team

They made the point on Sky yesterday that Sangakara has kept wicket to Muralitharan and that could give him the edge plus I think he's in the top 10 in the batting rankings.

Well, it's quite a way off yet, anything could happen.. Murali may not make it for one reason or another

I was considering McCullum actually, as well as Jones, both have shown that they can bat this year. But, as they were saying on the commentary yesterday, Sangakarra has kept wicket to Murali. Actually, so has Geraint Jones at Kent. Still Sangakarra I reckon.

Is it definatly gonna be Aussie? or is it whoever is at the top of the rankings on a certain date?

Aussie are so far ahead on the rankings that even if they lost 3-0 to Pakistan in the current series then they still would have ended up on top........

Due to the Sri lanken series being abandoned they are pretty much a shu in for the one day game/s? against the world 11 as well.

1: Strauss
2: Sehwag
3: Kallis
4: Dravid
5: Lara
6: McCullum
7: Flintoff
8: Pollock
9: Akthar
10: Harmison

Nah mate, Sehwag is in Shite form... that's why he got dropped against... bangladesh!

No one picking Tendulkar, must admit the last few years he hasn't been the same - yes he got a massive score against bangladesh but not too much of note

Damn i wish Bond was still around

Well.. Who makes drastic changes to the best team in the world? Test match, then.

The ODI team would be the same as it is now, except perhaps with Watson in.

Dropping Lehmann for Watson isn't obvious. As part of the squad I would have MacGill, Bichel, Symonds, Katich, Harvey and Lehmann. If not MacGill than Hauritz.

They dont play cricket at Telstra stadium do they?

Maybe he meant the Telstra Dome in Melbourne... unless theyve changed its name again for the 256th time
