why dont they use the X button for a simple scrum half pick the ball up

i know you can use [] or O for a forwar to pick it up but i want to do a scrum half dart from the scrums but cant

simple things like this make me mad

you missunderstand me

its the same for X Box and playstation 2

what im trying to say is at a scrum you do not have an option for the scrum half to pick the ball up and run with it

you can do a number 8 move or pass the ball left or right or do a box kick but your scrum half can not pick it up and run

Ah, gotcha!

Hardly the greatest loss ever though. If I wanted the backs to play with it I'd rather they spread the ball away from the opposition. Sending the scrum half on a run hardly ever works (I've tried it dozens of times and it's worked the grand total of.... once. <_< ).

Pealing off the back of a scrum is only really effective from around 5-10m when you can use other forwards to carry on piling through. A lone scrum half will get eaten for breakfast on normal or elite mode.

can you peel no8 then pass out to half back (ala pinaar try in the sharks game last week)

or does the animation take so long that you get tackled straight away?(ala rugby 05)

I thought you could run with the ball with the CH from the scrum by pressing A?

Well, you could use the triggers to use the flankers/N8 instead.
