Going as kicking coach, which he has been doing for Ireland since November.
We've literally kicked the best kick of all time in that period?...Ahh that makes sense.
Granted Ireland kicking has been crap since then just sayinnnnggg

The duality of man as represented by an Irish fan on the left v a French / English fan on the right.
I agree with all of the above, I just wanted to use that meme.I mean all a matter of perspective innit fam
England in 2023 had 2 win and then 3 wins in 2024
Ireland was coming off back to back competition trophies
Also Chad Smith -> Betagast
He’s a kicking coach. **** me, we had Neil Jenkins as our skills and kicking coach for 65 years.Sexton shouldn't be there on his coaching ability. Not sure why he's been asked.
We had a decade of terrible Welsh bias with Gatland, maybe this starts a decade of Irish bias with Farrell.
I don't get the whole Sexton hate. Like not his biggest fan but he has been 1 of the best 10's the past decade. However not all great players make great coaches. Sexton I think will be a massive success or huge failure. His personality will decide that as he has a huge ability to rub people up the wrong way and how he delivers messages in that Coach/Player dynamic will be interesting.Sexton has dawg though. Not too much of that in the squad options.
Ireland have won 3/4 triple crowns in the period and won both games against triple crown opponents outside of the six nations in the Lions period, it'll be hard to be bias with those results justifying a lot.
Sexton obviously was mostly involved in that as a player but it's hard to believe he didn't have heavy input in how things were done. I reckon he's as much a personality pick as a coaching one. And as laughable as that might look at first glance, only one player in his entire career has commented negatively about playing or working with him with plenty praising him in that regard.
Not a slight on Sexton either but I do think Leinster will have 10 or 11 alone on tour if not more. Prendergast nearly certain to be 1 of 10s and 2 Leinster hookers. Wouldn't say it development but more rest need to learn our style than blending in to 1 for tourThe whole Reiko thing gave the impression he's got a bit of a fragile ego. Not that I know him or anything but I'm betting he will be pushing for rentaghost to be the test 10 and has probably been selected to nurture him which I don't have a problem with if he's the best but I've not seen that from him yet. Just hope it's not treated as a Leinster/Ireland development tour.
