Yes, of course blame a cycle lane for falling Church attendances and not the fact that their attendees are mostly over 70. What will he blame when they all die and church collection plate is empty?

Which brings me to another pet peeve - cemeteries- whatever the faith. What a waste of space!

I don't mind cemeteries that are done well, they can be quite beautiful and are sort of like a park space. I do wonder how rapidly they fill up though.

We have a large Jewish cemetery near where I live and they keep expanding. Peep’s bones can decompose over hundred of years. Can’t keep expanding for the dead.

Doesn't the Jewish faiths and Islam not normally allow cremations.

If so not sure how you get around it.

Yes, quite right. That is quite frankly a stupid part of those religions. It’s their souls that matter not their bodies.

And how many are they going to prosecute with that? Because like cyclists kill all the time and it’s such a major issue.

While they’re at it they should update the law on cycling on pavements as that is older than the “wanton and furious” one and isn’t fit for purpose either. But they won’t.
