Worse. They lost the ability to travel to the moon despite billions in funding.Didn't they blow up both their space shuttles in highly avoidable circumstances?

They lost the ability or were there perhaps other reasons? I imagine it’s pretty costly and the only reason you went there before was for political reason to be honest.Worse. They lost the ability to travel to the moon despite billions in funding.
If you can’t go to the moon, then how the hell can you go to Mars or farther out? They lost the ability or were there perhaps other reasons? I imagine it's pretty costly and the only reason you went there before was for political reason to be honest.
What is it about going to the moon again that is important to you?
I get the impression, looking in from the outside, that they can get to the moon but they’re choosing not to at the moment. If you can't go to the moon, then how the hell can you go to Mars or farther out?
It depends if you consider the theory that resources will be limited going forward, or the climate damage becomes irreversible...I struggle to see the point of going to Mars. It's a nice concept but is it worth the resources to get there?

With an ever expanding population only two things can solve it.I struggle to see the point of going to Mars. It's a nice concept but is it worth the resources to get there?
Or Thanos. With an ever expanding population only two things can solve it.
War or emigration.
Resources are starting to be stretched even now
**** no, with my luck I'd still be hereOr Thanos.
The population in many countries is about to collapse. Also there are massive areas of our own planet that we don't occupy. Mars just feels like an unnecessary vanity projectWith an ever expanding population only two things can solve it.

If we have the ability to terraform Mars, we have the ability to reverse climate damage here.It depends if you consider the theory that resources will be limited going forward, or the climate damage becomes irreversible...

No maybe about it. Terraforming a lifeless planet is far far more difficult that simply cutting greenhouse gas emissions on the planet we already have.Maybe, maybe not.
Yeah but what if it isn'tNo maybe about it. Terraforming a lifeless planet is far far more difficult that simply cutting greenhouse gas emissions on the planet we already have.
It's expensive and pointless. Mars is a very hostile environment that doesn't support human life. Why go there? What's your issue with this particular vanity project?
