2025 World Rugby U20 Championship

Anyone else's yotu e being absolutely ruined with adverts?
They can't go 5 minutes without interrupting the rugny, which they do t even stop, just play an advert over it, before spending another 30seconds showing a thumbnail instead of the actual stream,!
Ublock does a good job of stopping them without triggering the shock adblock response on YouTube

I am lost for words. I would fire any coach at any level for less. This is not a minor oversight, a situation that arose in a friendly game and not much could be done about it, an anomaly. This happened 3 times on a world cup stage (U20, granted. Still).
I dont have the breakdown per min (or per quarter (20 min)) but i am pretty sure the first 20 minutes are our worst. After watching all three games i do not believe, for a second, it's a depth issue (our subs are head and shoulders above the rest). It is a concentration issue and that is unacceptable. 3 games in a row... wearing the Argentine colours... on a world cup. I am livid.
Aprox 25 minutes of play. We've conceded 4 tries. At least 3 of those were due to a phenomenal display of lack of concentration.
This aint a bug, it's a feature and it is simply unacceptable.

The saddest thing is that the media will sell this as an incredible achievement (4th place in a world cup) and nothing, not a single thing will be said about this appalling statistic trend.

Weird (?) thing i noticed during the NZ vs Fra game: Play leading to a try had an adv for Fra. Not a foul play one, off side thingie. After the try is scored (no penalty try) the ref concedes the try AND goes back to a NZ player and yellow cards him. I cannot recall that happening before.

Just tried to watch the highlights of the England game on the u20 website. Absolutely woeful. Of the first 50 points between the teams, I think I only saw one try scored by wales. It just showed random plays in between. Not even the red card or sin bins

It's unusual, but it does happen. Should probably happen more.
IIRC it was a team yellow for repeated infringement and a final warning - exactly what yellows were brought in for.

Prob been a pretty disappointing year for England especially considering the success last season. A lot of hype around some forwards but we just didn't really impose much of it this season. Lack of control at half backs didn't help also.

I know Coen and Bellamy took a bit of heat for this (I did join in) but losing Lucas Friday really didnt help.
