73-17 is a massive turnaround for the Junior Boks from losing at home earlier in the season to the same team. Hopefully this is a sign that greater cohesion and doing more U20 rugby in addition to this championship will keep on resulting in the team being better prepared when it gets to this tournament.

BP win. Will take that, but they absolutely should have pulled away at 14 points up. Some dumbass moments and bad mistakes (largely due to tiredness I’d say to be fair) left the door open.

Moloney at 15 played well. Few of the pack as well. Hooker is a good carrier. Beyond that not sure who stood out.

Argentina squeaked the win v Wales. Arg were too powerful up front really, squeezed the game up front and Wales were hanging on really. Almost won it with a few mins to go, but wasn't to be with the try being chalked off.

Last few mins of the first half really killed it for Wales. 24-7 up and just handed 2 tries on a plate to Arg to bring them back into it.

Baby Boks vs England

Players to be watching out for - Hlekani (pictured), Pead, Ndlozi and Mentoe. They stood out in the last game, but I doubt they’ll get as much space as Australia gave them.

Team play feels very Stormers than traditional Springboks, very fast and elusive backline that is also benefitting from a very strong forward pack (and scrum).

We gave our opponents a 35 min advantage. Got away with murder, again. Everyone loves a comeback story and we are all happy right now, but the insight here is we haven't learned a thing from our colossal mistake.
If you are banking on your subs wrecking havoc in the last 30-40 mins you have to minimize the damage received before that.
