2025 World Rugby U20 Championship

Good for Moynihan.

Unfortunately I was misinformed the person who told me mixed up O'Brien and Moynihan.

All Munster produced backrow. Need to start telling any talented schoolboy who wants to play 8 in the province that he's a hooker now. This is likely to be a fairly tough campaign. Interested to see what Wood is made of, but beyond that hoping this crop limits the damage they do for future years. Getting whacked by Scotland is embarrassing.

Doak needs to go asap
Agreed. I don't think this is a massively talented crop but the baseline for any Irish 20s side these days is at worst mid table six nations. You'd miss Richie

Can't decide if this is a really good showing by England or Scotland that bad

Happy with our back row though, also the outside backs have some units

73-17 is a massive turnaround for the Junior Boks from losing at home earlier in the season to the same team. Hopefully this is a sign that greater cohesion and doing more U20 rugby in addition to this championship will keep on resulting in the team being better prepared when it gets to this tournament.

Hopefully they can keep up the momentum

Dammit, got KO time wrong.
Happily, I can just start from the start.
Best avoid this thread for the next 80 minutes

Timmons with the grubbiest move of the tournament and it's only just started.

Yes the Scottish player attempted a croc roll but there was no need for the elbow smash

We should win this one. Georgians have a couple of handy players (8 and 15), but they're largely just a scrum. We make very easy yards off the forward carries when we can hold the ball.

BP win. Will take that, but they absolutely should have pulled away at 14 points up. Some dumbass moments and bad mistakes (largely due to tiredness I'd say to be fair) left the door open.

Moloney at 15 played well. Few of the pack as well. Hooker is a good carrier. Beyond that not sure who stood out.
