This wasn’t what started this off, though. I was specifically talking about Vance saying Trump is like Hitler and then becoming his VP.

Feel free to show me other instances where a politician has said another politician is like Hitler and then becomes an extremely important figure in that persons government.

You initially made what I would say was a faulty comparison by trying to say other politicians but that wasn’t the point unless you can show Lammy or Harris becoming Trump or Starmer VP/DPM

You are of course assuming McT is able to quote everything anyone has ever said in history to be able to call it bullshit.

Having done an extensive search I can't find any politician having said strumpet is Hitler other than a couple of ex politicians, Russian, mexican and another Republican.

The most relevant calling and quoted statements other than vance came from John Kelly who wasn't a politician.
