Hopefully there's an upset or two in the QFs.

Spain, France, England and Argentina doesn't really excited me as a neutral.

Jumping on the Norway bandwagon, probably the only team outside the four above that's good enough to reach a final (through the process if being dragged there by Haaland).

Yeah, Norway are a great shout. They’ve definitely got a great chance of reaching the final. Quite a few people had them as their dark horse pick as their form was so good in the qualifiers.

Hard to see past the boring England, Argentina, France and Spain picks though. I think France win but it’s tight.

Pleased that it looks like Romeros price tag is going up. Can’t wait to see the back of that player. I’d sell him for £40m at the moment i’m so desperate to get him out of the club.

I think Morocco and Norway have the best chance of causing a surprise. Spain and Argentina are comfortable favourites in their games I think. There is part of me that thinks Morocco could beat France but that could be more in hope rather than expectation.

Haven't seen Morocco yet somehow (I think I fell asleep on the couch before the Canada game started and love island was on when I woke up) but on reputation I agree.

Don't really give Switzerland or Belgium a prayer.

Norway v England from my limited understanding is really interesting. England when playing positively have looked as good as anyone in the comp but invite a lot of pressure onto themselves. I'd give advantage to England but if they don't approach it positively they'll struggle, Haaland doesn't need many chances.

Easy win for England

Anyone in Scandinavia with an ounce of strength left to go viking,
Anyone in England whose bloodline survived the invasion was part of the force that defeated the vikings

How ******* cool is this by the way. I think this is the coolest thing I’ve seen in football. I mean, England sing Wonderwall. The Vikings do this. 👏

I've seen better versions of 'Ooops Up Side Your Head" at 90's parties, and boat races in rugby clubs.

He's not exactly John Bonham on drums is he.

Swiss are a very tough team to actually beat last Euros they beat Italy and took England to pens

Argentina couldn’t beat Egypt or Cape Verde in the 90 so surprised people are not giving the Swiss a chance

Beat France recently too. They do usually run out of steam for being so attritional though. They're kind of the Castres of football

Love Island just happened to be on, did it.... You sure about that?

I'm following the usual England fans trajectory.
I hate to say this because I’m falling for it again, but I genuinely think we will make the final now. People will say it wasn’t the best Mexican team there’s ever been - but to beat them at the Azteca, with hardly any England fans there, after having to survive nearly 45 minutes (with stoppage time) with 10 men was a ******* heroic performance and something that I genuinely don’t think that any England team over the last 25 years would have been able to do. We would have crumbled in the past. I’m looking at this tournament now and thinking “why can’t we win it”?. If you have Kane, Bellingham and Rice and they’re firing then you’ve got a chance in most games. If we went all the way, then (probably) Spain or France in the final would be a massive challenge, but it’s a one-off game - we were utterly shite in the last Euros and yet we were still 5 minutes away from taking Spain to extra time in the final. France seem on a different level at the moment but for all their stellar teams they’ve had in the last 10 years, they have only won 1 tournament - they’ve not been a tournament winning machine like Spain were in their pomp.

It was a great performance i do agree

I like how all the Irish fans have moved on from claiming Rice to now claiming England have poached Bellingham off them
It’s funny how Wales never really had this problem. I can’t think of any Welsh qualified players that were really good that chose England over Wales (or just any players lol)

It seems we’ve had this problem more in rugby than football (Vunipolas and IFW) but there must be some I’m not aware of. Obviously I realise in rugby this is something we’ve done more to you than you to us.

Maybe it’s more a case Wales haven’t produced any world class footballers and the one we did (Bale obviously) wasn’t English qualified. Ramsey? Maybe I’m not sure.

I don’t know why I’m talking to you about this. You don’t give a ****. I don’t give a **** to be honest. We’ve already lost enough talent to football over the last decide or. I saw another ex Welsh rugby internationals son signed a contract for Swansea FC. He played rugby and had to make a choice. He clearly made the right one. I’d be telling my boy the same.

Fake Irishman playing for Ireland as an evil ploy:

True Gael from childhood, clearly being forced to play for England against his will:

(I don't think anyone with a braincell cares that players born and raised in England play for them - Rice and Grealish both playing for Ireland as adults was where the commotion came from)
