I guess perfect from your point of view that you have a POTUS that not only calls into question the integrity of American democracy, but also that of global football as well. What a guy.
I probably wasn't too clear. I meant more in relation to their mental prep for the match.Honest question: if you were a betting man, would you say that after all of this the odds of Belgium have increased/decreased/remained more or less the same?
I quite like watching one of the greatest of all time still in the tournament.Ohh nooo!! I can only imagine your lot s disappointment. The horror, the horror!
Jokes on you, I like Messi and wanted you to winOhh nooo!! I can only imagine your lot s disappointment. The horror, the horror!
funny enough, after the release of the third goal i (naturally) couldnt restore my composure after the final whistle. My first thought after that was 'what is ronaldo thinking right now?'.Every time Messi scores Ronaldo cries.
Wasnt directed at you. Utmost respect for you and all the authorities that run this place with an iron fist.Jokes on you, I like Messi and wanted you to win
You have a point, we were fortunate to come through such a crucible. At the same time, we were also unfortunate in how we ended up there in the first place. They attacked us 3 times and scored 3 goals (one disallowed). Our defense and goalie are, on average, better than that. First goals condition everything at this stage.Do wonder how long Argentina will get away with playing with their food like this.
Definitely the most entertained I've been by a football tournament that I can remember (I only really watch the World Cup and, to a lesser extent, the Euros though)Most insane World Cup I can remember
At least Messi isn't an arrogant prick like Ronaldo and NeymarI quite like watching one of the greatest of all time still in the tournament.

**This could be the last time we see Messi at a world cup, gotta make the most of it**
Your defence has been very shaky this World Cup, hasn't it. Been kept in because of Messi and Emi Martinez more times than you would wantYou have a point, we were fortunate to come through such a crucible. We did what we had todo: tried from different angles, moved pieces, switched players and tactics... it's not an easy thing to do against a team that takes a step back and waits for you.
This was also key: 1) we missed a penalty and 2) their goalkeeper was unbelievable.
I’m seriously worried this England team can beat Argentina. There’s a bit of me that’s saying this to put the old vodoo jinx on England but there’s also a bit of me that thinks it will happen.Argentina SHOULD beat their QF final opponents (Switzerland or Colombia) what would put them up against England or Norway
France SHOULD beat Morocco, and Spain SHOULD beat Belgium that would be the other semi.
So, likely final you would think will be France vs Argentina.... The Dictator vs the Atomic Flea
Was seriously hoping for Colombia to get through there. Switzerland are boring as f***. Argentina will steamroller them. The only positive about that is that, if we beat Norway, then we get to see the match-up in the World Cup that I’ve been waiting for since my first one in 2006. Genuinely, the thought of playing Argentina in a WC semi final gives me shivers. The history, the rivalry, both sets of fans. We haven’t played them since a friendly in 2005. People outside of the two countries probably don’t fully grasp it - this is bigger than Germany and Scotland, this is “the one”. Amazingly, Messi has never played against England in his career, it’s just meant to be isn’t it, it’s gonna happen.1 African country, 1 South American and 6 European in the quarters.
Yeah, I was rooting for Colombia too. Anything can happen but any bets who'll win yet?1 African country, 1 South American and 6 European in the quarters.
