Is that Mitchell and Co's fault or are they stuck under Borthwick and not allowed to play their natural game? We don't know for sure, but the fact that so many players seem to play worse for England than their club (and that includes European games), suggests it's a coaching issue.
JvP for Leicester vs England is night and day

Every player for their club vs England is night and day

I do feel it’s way too early to be suggesting that JvP should be cast by the wayside in favour of looking towards the younger generation; JvP is the younger generation. As others have said, he’s 24 years old; Alex Mitchell didn’t pick up his first cap til he was 25 and wasn’t really getting starts til he was 26. He’s 29 now and I feel there’s still areas of his game that he’s developing. Just because JvP isn’t quite at the level yet does not mean he’s not going to get there and that he’s not worth investing time into.

Yup,
I can't believe we're 4 years into SB's reign and still questioning whether the tactics and coaching is the issue or whether...there's a particularly strong gas leak in the Twickenham changing rooms that makes players forget how to play?

Who would be your top 3 to replace SB?

1. An old shoe
2. A white dog turd
3. Mitchell

Any of the above would be better.

Scotland aren't falling, they beat England. Pretty sure that is the sole criterion for success in a Scottish coaches contract.
I don't get it. Surely there's no kudos in beating England. Recently nearly ever Teir 1 side's done it

At this stage a win against England is like taking candy off the baby.

JVP has had a good season tbf and Mitchell is coming back from injury so if SB sees JVP as next in line it's good for him to get some experience even though Mitchell is first choice.
JvP isn’t Test match quality. He’s 25, first played for England in 2022 and hasn’t had a good game in an England shirt yet.

No need to drug test the Aussie's. The result was the correct one
Bit suspicious how the French are really, really good at both football and rugby but Wales aren’t. Probably the English putting estrogen in the water in Wales to curtail our uber masculinity and soaring testosterone levels.
