Hi everyone I decided to start this thread because I'm not sure if all our members know which channels to watch, or subscribe to when trying to get their RWC 2011 fix on television. If you have information on your own country or need to ask which channel it will be seen on please ask and add info here.
For my Canadian fans all 43 games will be carried on TSN and TSN 2, many will be live and I expect the Canada and big games will also be shown again tape delayed, considering New Zealand is a pretty brutal time zone for most Canadian fans I suggest firing up your DVR, VCR or whatever and recording some of the games.
Here is a basic list of broadcasters off of wikipedia, if anyone knows any specific details about how many and which games they will be showing please add to this.
Argentina – TV Pública[24]
Australia- Fox Sports and Nine Network
France – TF1 (20 games), Eurosport France (All games – delayed), France Télévisions and Canal+ (28 games each)[25]
Ireland – Setanta Sports and RTÉ Sport[26]
Italy – Sky Italia[27]
Japan – J Sports[28]
New Zealand – SKY (host broadcaster), Māori Television, TVNZ and TV3[29]
Romania – Digi Sport Romania
United Kingdom – ITV[30] and the Welsh language broadcaster S4C (9 in total, including all of Wales' games)[31]
United States – Universal Sports and NBC[32]
Colombia – RCN TV
Brazil - ESPN Brasil
South Africa - SuperSport
Hong Kong - now TV
Canada - The Sports Network, (TSN and TSN 2)
Germany - Sport 1
