Really shows how some who have lasted for ages are real freaks and will probablly have poor quality of life when older. Kind of shows you can't really begrudge anyone who goes where the money is. Not really a surprise I suppose but interesting to have a number stuck on it.

That's actually a fairly decent length, I think it's longer than the average career in most North American sports especially gridiron.

Thats a fair point. I guess from this side I compare it to sports on the Irish scene, where you guys like Ryan Giggs in occer and recently retired Tipperary hurler Brendan Cummins who retired at 38, though he was a keeper.
