Barritt has gone very, very well this half, as much as I hate to admit it. Still not attacking on fire, but England are adapting to it, using the wings in the 13 channel. But his defence has been predictably amazing.

So has May's. Other than the try, his knowledge of defence on the wing is impeccable. Knows exactly when to make the tackle and when to drift. There have been a couple of 2v1 attacks down his wing where he has drifted, waited for support, and killed the attack.

I think this may well be our best back line. (Tuilagi as a bench option would be nice too.)

Watched the second half already, have you? Don't spoilt it for us.

I have, but the first half ended like 10 minutes ago..

But it's not new news, England are big.

Second half predictions;

NZ 67 Try's, England 2 Try's.

It's a league term that has seemed to carry through to union, but it doesn't actually exist in the rules. In league, if the tackle is complete you are not allowed to place the ball. In union, you are allowed to reach forward for the tryline, as long as it is done immediately after hitting the floor.

Law 15.5 The Tackled Player

(b) A tackled player must immediately pass the ball or release it. That player must also get up or move away from it at once.

(c) A tackled player may release the ball by putting it on the ground in any direction, provided this is done immediately.

... once you're tackled, those are the instructions. No player is permitted to have a second crack.

Wilsons been disappointing around the field...not always sure he can play at the same pace and with the same skills that the other 14 guys can... done alright in the scrum, I suppose..

That's better. Somehow we had a massive overlap on the blindside.

EDIT: Come on Cruden...!!!
