Yeh Ncurd why are you doing that in the middle of the streets?

typical Bath fans.
Hey were pleasant sort just need to give the non whiteys a good kicking.

Seriously though the increase in racist behaviour since the result is deeply troubling. It's given some people the right to be openly hostile and it makes me sick.

Yes I do agree some ugly stuff about

Don't know if anyone has seen this...

Right. **** this. We're ALL up **** creek and we need a paddle. Now, not in three months.

Fellow Remain voters: Enough already. Yes, we're all ****** off but navel gazing ain't gonna help. Not all 17 million Leave voters can possibly be racist northern pensioners without an O level to their name. Maybe they have a point about this quitting the EU thing? Maybe not. Whatever, we are where we are and no amount a whinging is gonna change that. Allegedly we're the intelligent ones, so get your thinking caps on.

Leave voters. Well done. Good game. We hear you. Now you need to get stuck in to the aftermath and not just **** off back to Wetherspoons. (Just banter, *****!). And the first person to say they "want their country back" gets deported to ****ing Gibraltar. OK?

Politicians.

David. **** off. Shut the door behind you. Now.

George. You may be a **** but you're our ****. Plus you know the passwords for our Junior Savers account. Get your calculator. Drop the face-like-a-slapped-ass routine. You're on.

Boris. Sorry mate. That photo of you abseiling by your scrotum over the London Olympics while waving a Union Jack can't ever be un-taken. Plus, you'll never be able to appear on Question Time again without some sturdy Glaswegian nurse asking where the **** her 350 million quid is. Not only will she have a very good point, she'll be wearing a T shirt that shows you gurning in front of that ****ing bus! No captains hat for you I'm afraid.

Theresa. You're in charge love. Get the biggest shoulder pads you've got. We need Ming The Merciless in drag and you'll scare the **** out of 'em.

Nicola. Yep. Fair cop. You probably could get us on a technicality, as could London. But we ****ing love shortbread. And oil. And to be honest you're probably the best politician we've got, so we need you on side. Sort your lot out and we promise never to mention that Jimmy Krankie thing again (although it is pretty uncanny) and we'll make you a Dame once we're sorted. Bring Ruth Davidson. She kicks ass.

Opposition party. We'll need one. Someone take Jeremy and John back to the British Legion Club where you found them. Take Nigel as well. Give back their sandals, buy them a pint, then go to Heathrow and collect David Milliband. **** it. Lets gets Ed Balls as well. He keeps George on his toes. I think he works on the lottery kiosk at Morrisons now?

Oh. And Mark Carney. Give him a knighthood and tell him to keep that **** coming. We definitely need more of that good ****!

Everyone set? Right. Hold the Easyjet. We're going to Brussels and this ain't no hen party.

#weneedaplan Share!

And they have themselves to blame, sorry but any political entity must engage with public and press there was often a feeling that the attitude was " this is what we are telling you to do tough" when perhaps it was just the daily mail perception but no one got a different one to compare.

Agreed. I do not think the EU is perfect. It can be improved. But surely it is not as bad as people tend to make it.
It's better with the EU than without.

If I'm honest the common market made sense to me, in the 80 and 90s we all travelled and worked in Europe without any hassle, we were still ruled by parliament, we had duty free and cheap holidays due to the draracma and the pacata being lower value than the pound and when I lived in Germany I got an allowance because the Mark was so strong. Everything European seemed OK if you ignored the fisheries policy. But then everything got a little too regulated and money seemed to be poured into Spain, Portugal and Ireland to build things that would never be used, the Euro was smashed though because the marks high value was hammering German exports and the next thing you know stories are appearing in the press showing market stall holders being fined for not using KGs and did anyone dispute these claims? No. Hate preachers being allowed to fight extradition because of some Human Rights thingy the European court of humans rights had put in. All these things were ott but no one challenged the perception the EU had in the UK and there were some very real things happening such as manufacturing jobs been moved to Slovakia with EU sponsorship, the obvious question from people was: why is my tax money paying for this? Well no body wanted to answer the question at anytime and the likes of the BBC didn't want to ask it either being more obsessed with what racist comment Nigel Farage had supposedly said. Focus on the negative and you get a negative response.

A Polish man and his son, reportedly beaten by racists:

Father has broken arm and perhaps neck trauma. Son has facial fractures, broken jaw and nose.

Because your doing what the daily mail has been doing for years, illegally this, apparently that. Do you have any understanding of the polish community? Do you honestly think a bunch of low lives would dare beat a couple up? Polish communities in the UK are young and tight knit and most English low lives know to steer clear, I would trust me on this it's not something your graphs could explain.

The European Convention on Human Rights has little to do with EU.

Infact we had a pretty big hand in writing it. It's just that our courts aren't the final arbiters which make sense considering it needs to be applied equally to all countries.

You wouldn't leave each country to apply the Geneva Conventions as they see fit would you?

Your missing the point I was making mate, this was all lumped together and no one challenged the perception of it.

Fair enough I think it's mainly because anti Europeanism was mainly seen as an offshoot of the Tory party which is where the split to UKIP occurred. No one really took it serious and with BNP threat it was seen as far right cause more than anything else.

The real change in perception seemed to be when the Eastern European countries joined and the influx of migrants brought in. Still it took to Farage for the party to really build up momentum to take seriously. By that time many had made up their minds about Europe and any explanation to it falls on death ears.

Polish guy I work(ed) with was kicked to death last year when on his way back from a night on the tiles.
I don't think it's beyond the realms of reality that a gang of tanked up EDL-type chavs would beat up a lad and his Dad as they're walking down the street, whether or not Eastern Europeans stick together/are tough or not.
Tensions are absolutely running higher after the vote, especially amongst people who were already racist.
It's not turning normal people into violent thugs, but it's giving violent thugs ideas.

It didn't help when everytime someone from the BBC or C4 news interviewed farage they seemed more interested in calling his party racist than actually challenging the claims he made, all this did was make other disaffected people side with him.

Agreed there problem is when your initial momentum comes from that group it's incredibly hard to shake off. Even now a small minority are doing wonderso for tarring 52% of the country.

Just argued on Facebook the accusations that Cameron told remain to not attack Gove and Boris to much makes perfect. Attacking people invigoratesay supporters not diseases them.
