I read a police statistics yesterday saying that not even 1% of killings in Germany are committed by non Germany.

Whats that percentage today?

He's agreeing with you that the DNC was clearly anti Sanders. But he's saying that if this came as a surprise to you or anyone you're pretty naive. The fact that a guy like Sanders has to compromise on some of his values to compete in America's idiotic two party system was ridiculous, and the fact that only two candidates will get a look in is a pretty good indicator. Sanders was never a democrat and his values are far left of the typical democrat.
Do you honestly believe Trump would be an effective president? Do you honestly believe that despite the fact he's hated by democrats and a pretty decent portion of his own party he would get any policy through?
People like you need to stop acting like the world is constantly falling apart to play up your agenda. The world is a better place to live than it ever was for the vast majority of people, yourself included. Also the link you posted, gee whiz there's some stupid democrats out there. The same couldn't possibly be applied to Trump supporters.... Oh wait, the Ku Klux Klan are supporting him, there's hundreds of videos out there of his supporters saying truly idiotic things, not to mention the amount of times Trump has contradicted himself in this campaign. That said I don't at all like Hilary Clinton either and if I were an American would probably spoil my vote. Like I said it's the idiocy of a two party system in a country of over 320 million people.

Sarcasm aside the problem with Americas system is the winner takes all president but also elected houses that are at odds. The two party system is a joke but that comes from more from people's desire for a clear 'winner' even when close to 50% of people disagree. Have the same issue here with Brexit and elections (60% of people can vote for a different government to the one they get).

However you only have to look at what happened to the Lib Dems to see how people react to consensus politics. The systems are terrible but the voters make them worse.

And the German Police and media have a rep of not saying everything since Cologne.

I mean I'm not lumping everyone together but how can you have a system where it denies Asylum to someone (obv for a reason and if not then why deny it?) but still keep him in the area.

Re Trump one of two thing a will happen
1) He is BS ATM he knows that by appealing to thickarses that he will but himself into a position where it will be him v Clinton (and I can see a few people not voting at all becuase of that) if he was to come into power he won't do anything he says he will why becuase I don't think he believes it, he knows he will have only 1 term and IMO will focus on pushing laws that will only benefit him personally and I can see shyt hitting the fan with his voters.
2) he believes what he says and in which case he is a worry.

I don't get the DNC hate towards Bernie, I mean he is obvs respected in politics and deserved better than that, I get he is considered mainstream for American voters but I would of thought that having him as VP would of done more for unity in the democrats

If Trump makes it in he'll be as ineffective as Jimmy Carter. One can't just sidestep congress like Lyndon Johnson anymore.
If Clinton is elected she'll be a pretty standard president. A pretty awful person in my opinion but she has plenty of guile and political experience to establish at least some degree of bi-partisanship with the republicans and could probably achieve something. Once again I repeat she's a crook and a liar who gets the same blind support as Trump in my opinion, but would be a more effective president.

Where this falls down is that Sanders is actually popular with moderates.

On a sample of 51,078, Clinton beats Trump by 47% to 42%. However, Sanders beats Trump by 52% to 40%.

2,927 would vote for Sanders in an election, but not Clinton. Which just goes to show how absurd this political race is.

Of the 2,927 who would vote for Sanders and not Clinton, 35% identify as Republican and 33% as Independent. In other words, Sanders seems to be having a pulling effect on moderates and Republicans that Clinton is not reaching.
