Tape over scrum caps, scrum caps are a pain in the arse because you can't hear a thing in the scrum and cause you to overheat. I usually don't bother using anything when I play second row however.

For Ireland, Heaslip is the key player who needs to have a good tournamnet at Number 8. If he hits top form, that gives us a great chance of beating almost anyone provided the back line stay free of the errors we saw creeping in during the 6 nations.

I also made this transition a couple of years ago and I recommend working on your footwork and passing (as this could turn out to be a big part depending on how your team play), and also stamina for definate.
