- If Biarritz Olympique Pays Basque won the semi-final Amlin Challenge Cup, an all French final will mean a seventh place next season in the H.Cup for France, which will be filled by the winner of the Challenge Cup Amllin .
- If Leinster win the final of the Amlin Challenge Cup, there will be a place for Connacht in the H.Cup as fourth place.
- If Leinster win the final of the Amlin Challenge Cup and the Munster win the final of the Heineken Cup, Connacht would qualify but Ireland can not have more than four representatives per season. In 24th place qualification for the H.Cup goes to the club not already qualified for the tournament, which has the most points in the standings of the ERC. Currently, the club is Biarritz Olympique Pays Basque.
- If a French club won the H Cup final, France will have seven representatives next season and Perpignan looks likely.
- If Saracens win the final, England will have seventh place in the next season, who will probably be Bath because the club is currently seventh in the Premiership.
- If French clubs win both H.Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup, then France will have a seventh place in the H.Cup next season. As France can not have more than seven representatives per season, the last place in H. Cup goes to the club not already qualified for the tournament and who has the most points in the standings of the ERC. Currently, it is the London Wasps.
So Biarritz will qualify if they win the Amlin OR if Lenister AND Munster are successful................wierd but kind wonderful!!
