I'm fairly certain that the winners of it will be one of Wales, Scotland, England, Ireland, France and Italy.

I think at least 6 teams will have high hopes, and 5, or even 6, will probably disappoint in some way or another.

The only thing that gives me a slight piece of mind is although we were bloody awful down under, the score lines were still competitve.

We've had 4 different winners in the last four years... there's no usual. Wales have been erratic because for every grand slam, they've had a couple of 4th and 5th place finishes. I don't really know how to explain that...

Since Italy joined and the Six Nations began, the teams have each won this many games:

France - 46 Wins
Ireland - 45 Wins
England - 43
Wales - 33
Scotland - 16
Italy - 8

Come the 6 Nations I'll probably say Ireland will win but now I dunno it is a pretty open competition if Gatland is coaching the Lions three of the favorites will probably have terrible head coaches in charge.

Irvine has said whoever coaches the Lions won't be able to coach in the 2013 6n as they need to see all the players in action and not be biased by coaching one of them. Also they'll apparently be very busy with a lot of commitments.
