only criticism can follow in the aftermath (or should I say 'aftermatCh' ! oh ho ho ho ....oh...........oh my stomach hurts)

But try not to let my wondrous comedic talents stun you and stray away from the equally brilliant statement at hand: whoever loses this will receive...a FULL.....

DESADULATION.

Hoping the Wallabies will at least scrape a win and get some momentum going. However the return game in Argentina will be their best chance to open their TRC account.

Am I right in saying that this is a more attack-minded backline for los Pumas? If so I think they are going about it the wrong way; For my money I think they would be better served if they went for a solid wall in the backline with a good sweeper and positional 15 with an accurate boot even if those wouldn't be able to string two passes together...

That said I like and respect their showing some intent and backing themselves.

Contepomi for Fernández was a given. Imhoff is for Camacho because of an injury, not that we have any other option there.

Ausies will bounce back and all will be forgotten
I think so but hope not

aaaahhh we'll have to see. Not all that sure. But I do think the Aussies are a lot more pressured and forced to perform in this one, I wouldn't imagine the pressure being all that high for Arg.

Looking forward to see Juan Imhoff on this game, I think he should play more often on this team. He's such a great player.

Wallabies squad
James Slipper, Stephen Moore, Ben Alexander, Rob Simmons, Kane Douglas, Scott Fardy, Michael Hooper, Ben Mowen (capt), Nic White, Quade Cooper, Nick Cummins, Christian Leali’ifano, Adam Ashley-Cooper, James O’Connor, Israel Folau.
Bench: Saia Fainga’a, Scott Sio, Sekope Kepu, Sitaleki Timani, Ben McCalman, Will Genia, Matt Toomua, Tevita Kuridrani.

Will Genia on the bench with Nic White getting his first start.

Even if they do win, I'm not sure a victory at home vs Argentina will at all make up for three very bad losses (2 at home) to SA and the ABs. Unless they win their last three games, this RC is prettty much a disaster for the Ozzies IMHO.

And now Genia on the bench?? Wow, sad times for Australia! I Hope they bounce back, but at the same time I hope Argentina goes well.....

Is Genia injured or something??
I dont see how leaving him on the bench is good for the wallabies..

They haven't been overly happy with him for a while. His energy has not been the same as it once was. I doubt he is injured. Would seem strange to put an injured player on the bench.

Will Genia dumped from Wallabies

Wow, huge call by Ewen McKenzie.

Thanks for the info.

Aus should certainly be considered favorites but i wouldn't be surprised if Argentina got their first scalp and after pushing SA close at home I see Argentina as slight favorites for the return match. At least I hope so as Aus do have some players in the backline that can break a game open. Big call benching Genia, maybe its the right one but I would've thought that it would mean Toomua coming in as well.

I think the people who are hoping for Arg to take it the most are Sourgrapes White and Scapegoat Deans.

Genia has been dropped, Mowen made captain otherwise wallabies remain the same. Right call IMO, Genia has been poor since the 3rd lions test and hopefully a kick up the ass os what h needs. Also Mowen at captain makes a lot of sense hes shown leadership qualities and I've always found forward captains better particular against teams like ARG and SA.

AUS need to focus on building better depth in the forwards. They did not play well last week and yet no changes have been made to the pack.

Hope they play well. But they don't bring the same energy they did in 2010-11.
