I'm a bit disappointed Coleman was dropped for Grant this week, he's hardly a rugby genius but I still think at the moment he offers more than Grant especially in terms of his positive passing game. Also our tight five is a bit woeful with all the injuries as the Bulls demonstrated last week.

I hope the Stormers out but the Force are probably favourites, which if you'd told me would happen at home two or three years ago I would have laughed...

I'm picking the Stormers to win this week, but I find these South Afican derby matches hard to pick ;)

I think your mad at the force for beating your highlanders. :p Lets count the south Africans in our team, I count 2 in our starting team and Sias could be eligible for the wallabies next year. You must be poor at tipping

Yes, I'm clearly angry at the Force hence I'm pointing out that they are full of South Africans to punish them

Yes, there are only 4 South African's in the 23 (along with 4 Kiwis I think!), but as Gena points out there are 9 in their extended squad! With only 8 foreigners this is probably the most 'Australian' side they have put out this year :)

I would be very surprised if the Force win by 10, but they have surprised me a couple of times this season! Man for man the Stormers look the stronger side and they are at home - they will certainly start the match as favourites....

Mate I don't think you've tipped the force once, You've been surprised all year. How do the stormers look the stronger side, there sitting down on the table and have a piling injury list. Once again you underestimate this force side. We'll see in a few hours

Relax I love the force, we all love the force, it's great to see them doing so well this year. However they have achieved a lot of their success through determination and good work as a single unit, pound for pound the Stormers probably have more talent in their positions, luckily for you these things aren't decided on paper. How many force players do you realistically see making the Wallabies 22? The Badge + one or two?

That's not a bad thing it leaves lots of room for development.

Anyway the game itself should be good but I do fear for our pack and without some sort of creative pivot in the team I worry about us greatly.

What is wrong with the Stormers? 3 tries after 46 minutes and leading by 21 points but then they 1) go for goal where a bonus point would not add inconsiderably to our overall tally then 2) defend our line for 20 minutes denying the Force nothing but only wasting our own time to score the 4rth and 3) giving away 2 yellow cards from our back three who are or at least should be the ones scoring our 4rth. Something is wrong in this team and it is the IQ points of our leadership (or lack thereof) group.

Me and my dad was thinking the exact same thing! I would point the finger to AC. I just think he's getting away with being mediocre for far too long. It's clear that there is something wrong in the decision making, and the calls coming from the side.

This team should be in the top half of the competition competing a play off spot but had all kinds of bad luck + changing from a defensive to an offensive mindset.
So easy it is to forget just how brilliant the Stormers can be isn't it

The Force have performed well above expectations this year. However if you actually look at the side on paper it is not that impressive at all. They have an excellent loose-forward trio and some good contributions from the likes of Mathewson, Ebersohn, Hayward, and Cummins in the backs. That's about it though. Most sides they come up against have better teams on paper (such as this Stormers side) so the Force need to be playing at there best every weekend to win. Unfortunately I feel that the Force will struggle to keep up their performance all season. This not because I dislike the Force, it is simply because I'm being realistic - I've said exactly the same things about my Highlanders side!

It's a few days almost now.
Can't wait to hear the Ausie logic as just to how this could have happened, I mean it was almost impossibru
