The dreadful results by Enisei and Timisoara Saracens go to show that rugby still is nowhere near football in terms of genuine competitiveness and global spread. The fact that a mid-table French team and the worst team in the British Isles can still heavily beat non-Six Nations clubs away from home speaks volumes. As unfathomable as this may sound, the likes of Dragons and Zebre would comfortably beat not only most clubs outside the Tier One countries but even most countries themselves - certainly from Spain downwards.
