I know some won't believe me but bantz aside I want France to win today not to beat Wales but because of the style of rugby they are playing. Last weekend game was good because both sides decided to play and I think its better for the game if they do. So supporting France today is about wanting team to promote that style because if they aren't successful with it then other teams will revert to percentage based drivel.

In regards to whether Wales deserve the GS if they win, then for me they absolutely do and will have been the best team in the tournament. However, for me overall the standard of rugby hasn't been great in this tournament and I would argue that if Wales played like they had in other years where the opposition played better then they wouldn't be anywhere near the title. I feel they still have some issues and this tournament might actually be papering over some cracks that will still be there after. Yes they deserve to win the GS and Wales won't care if it's been a crap tournament, but reality is that there have been some really turgid games this year with poor performances from almost every nation.

Any team that wins a grand slam deserves it. But to think it puts the team streets ahead of every other team all of a sudden is daft. Wales could win a GS, just as easily as they could be about to embark on a decent losing streak.
