RIP Jo Cox. Tragic.

I'm not being obtuse, the top picture shows a column of refugees presumably marching into Europe and the statement says breaking point. I really really don't see how that is anyway racist. It may be incorrect or it may be reactionary or scare mongering but it's not racist and to to say it's somehow Nazi propaganda is very silly and a big overreaction.

There are 126,000 refugees living in the UK in total. The idea that the country is teeming with refugees is false. To scapegoat them for unsustainable numbers of people coming into the country is frankly ridiculous. The facts simply don't support refugees being a problem in the UK. If anything, the UK have failed their humanitarian duties by accepting so few refugees into the country.

As a result, this poster is racist; the facts are false, but the emotive picture this poster is painting is to play on peoples prejudices and fears of non-white people, scapegoating refugees for something that they are not responsible for.

Unknown as of yet but extremely likely however she was very firmly in the IN Campaign with additional politics in that regard as well and reports say the man arrested shouted "Britain First!" as he committed the act. The party (Britain First) have denied any knowledge of the act but in reality it was only matter of time before their hate speech led to an attack like this even if they didn't coordinate it.

That he man shouted 'Britain First' or 'Put Britain First'.

Jo Cox intervened and the man was dragged into a cafe when the murderer pulled a gun and shot her.

From that it would appear she was in wrong place at wrong time and did the right but, as it turns out, the wrong thing?

Fair enough I just wanted to make sure misinformation doesn't get out there. I find with other tragedies the wrong stuff lingers for months/years afterwards.
