All Blacks 2021-2025 Thread

NZ are playing a very simple and destructive game out there. Not very NZ but a Coach's dream. Essentially 9 man rugby with the odd celeb appearance from Jordie.

Don't know if it'd do so well against a first choice French pack but this is very intriguing to watch, elite levels of fitness and Roigaard has been perfect.

They need to throw everything to get Mo'unga back, more nuanced 10 play in this would be so destructive.

I like that NZ are returning the favour and redeveloping him as a wing for us.

Proctor looks a far more complete 13, reiko was always a class wing so makes a lot of sense for them.

Honestly I thought Mo’unga coming back was a dead cert when Robertson came in. But guess NZRU dont rate him as much as others. Mad because he’s one of the best 10’s in world rugby

Do think NZ are getting a heavy rub of the green with the ref at the breakdown. Been getting a few jackals where similar aren't given the other way.

Not enough to make a difference, just a different class here.

Yeah, lineout seems fair - 6M is probably better than a kick to touch from there would get - but I guess it might have given them the option of kicking for points

Knife going in on the French on comms. God bless them, they don't know the French don't care what anyone else thinks.

Yeah like I get why they are upset, would've been good for NZ to have a full strength tour. But the attitude at half time kinda stunk

Last week AB didn't respect them, AB showing France a lot more respect and putting them to the sword.

The key word being respect which the pundits should've started showing

NZ care that much dont accept the French your next time and instead play the Pacific Islands or something

Do France select purely based on size because some of these big boys are a utter waste of space

This.
As we said last week - everyone has had 25-odd years of knowing that the French hardly pick anyone from their finalists* (and few from their losing semi-finalists) to tour in the summer.
So your choices are:
A] Invite them, but a week or two later
B] Invite someone else instead

Crying foul when you got what you knew you were going to get just isn't a good look

* Am I right in thinking the limit is no more than 6 from the losing semi-finalists combined, and no more than 6 from the losing finalists combined?
