Aviva Premiership 16/17 - Round 21

Tigers shall finally gain dominance over Sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You say that so often it's lost all meaning.

Realistically I think we'll play well for 60 then lose handily in the last 20, as is tradition for this season. Really wish Addison was available, and it looks like we'll be missing Aulika, And don't have a backup loosehead we trust (Harrison plays the full 80 more than not).
I did think we'd get battered last season, though, So who bloody knows.

Last time Tigers beat Sale was the 2014-2015 season... Wow. Also interesting that in the season Tigers were **** poor at scoring tries 2nd lowest beaten only by London Welsh and roughly half of what all the other teams did. Funny times.

Maybe wishful thinking, but I reckon Quins could pull off a surprise result and sneak a home win against Wasps ...

Sale Sharks:

15. Mike Haley
14. Denny Solomona
13. Sam James
12. Mark Jennings
11. Josh Charnley
10. AJ MacGinty
9. Mike Phillips

1. Ross Harrison
2. Rob Webber (c)
3. Kieran Longbottom
4. Bryn Evans
5. Andrei Ostrikov
6. Cameron Neild
7. Tom Curry
8. Laurence Pearce

Replacements:

17. James Flynn
18. Diogo Ferreira
19. George Nott
20. David Seymour
21. Peter Stringer
22. Johnny Leota
23. Byron McGuigan

Not feeling confident. Scrum will be battered and then we've got nothing on the bench to come on (a loosehead who's not been trusted and a teenager making his debut).
Charnley starting over literally any other option is crazy, especially after he gifted the 7pts vs Gloucester

Olyy, why is the substitute Curry bro always listed at 16 instead of 20 like every other back row sub?

Don't think this is wishful thinking or that it would be a surprise; we've been terrible recently and are away tonight. I'm just hoping that our "almost-lions" play to prove Gatland wrong and also that we stop kicking loosely and speculatively. Glad Guy Thompson is in for Hughes, 100% the right call.

Great result for Quins last night which will hopefully secure 6th.

I'd be surprised if Saints can get an away win at Sandy Park, so the final game at Franklin's Gardens will be a big game.

Gloucester and Sale are both capable of turning over Bath on current form, so 5th isn't entirely impossible.
