AWJ and Tipuric retire from international rugby

The problem I see though is that it hey are only 2-3 injuries away from needed their experience in the wider squad.

Ian's fine if Stephen Donald had retired himself before that famous call up.

2011 was a case in point of course they can do well without the old guard. But that team of Warburton, Lydiate, Talupe, Halfpenny and Co had some good experience before at the 6Ns and form IIRC. They can go there with less pressure and play.


As I did'nt attend the Swansea - Baa Baas game which as I said in a different thread I very much would've liked I might book a flight in November to (hopefully) see him and other Wales greats get a proper send-off when Wales face the Baa Baas in Cardiff! Although I believe playing that special game in Swansea on May 31st (for both the Barbarians and Swansea) would surely count as a proper send-off to many I have to say it would be nice from a personal POV too see a few legends one more time before they all call it a day 😁☺️
