Barbarians have this morning announced that Sergio Parisse, Martin Castrogiovanni, Jaque Fourie, Imanol Harinordoquy and Kahn Fotauli'i will be in the squad to face the Lions on June 1 in Hong Kong.
Not bad.
Not bad.
I'm on a streak of writing stuff that make only half-sense. Thought the first test was the week after. It's kind of silly that the Lions play this match tbh... It's not a serious match as to play the test side, but there's a midweek game only four days later, with a long trip in between, so it may be a bit too much for the midweek side...
And all this to be played in a half empty stadium... even the Argentina "test" in 2005 made more sense!

I don't think it will be half empty at all tbh, Hong Kong has a very large expat base, majority british, who won't miss the opportunity. Along with that I know quite a few people will head up from Singapore and sounding countries with large expat populations, to watch this game rather then go all the way down to Aus.
Jerry Collins? He'd really cut up the opposition at his current form.Hope some kiwis get in on the action to be honest.
