How come Gatland chose Rory Best's wonky throwing ahead of Ross Ford?
When it comes to dodgy lineout throwing, no one beats Ross Ford.

1- Bismarck du Plessis
2- Rory Best
3- Adrian Strauss
4- Any of ABs

Rory has helped me to add much in the Fantasy, so I have a special appreciation for him.

Cheers

anyways: I've little knowledge/interest of/for the hooker position compared to other positions so i'd like to read some justifications for bismarck, apparently unanimously voted here..

Szarzewski?
Hmm, big shout - I don't think he's particularly standout.

Hooker's a weird position in that few countries have a real standout option there.
Wales have Hibbard, who on his day would be up there amongst the top few.
Best is very good, too, but can flake terribly.

That's him.

OK, it might be a big call, but I can only go by what I have seen of him, which was

1. the French tour here this year, where he was clearly a better player than the other guy (Kayser?) and performed pretty well in a French outfit that didn't, and

2. for Racing in Top 14 this year.

We don't get much coverage of Top 14 here but what we do get often seems to involve Racing Metro and Clermont Auvergne (maybe there's a couple of fans in The Rugby Chanell's programming dept.)
