Download the Luke McLean face (it's in a thread somewhere) extract the files and open up the face texture in photoshop or something similar. Then, take a small portion the picture of Luke's beard (just a square or something) and lay it onto the face, as required, so you have lots of little blocks that make up the shape of his beard. Save this image, and import back into the .big file. Then put back in directory.
