Chiefs vs Brumbies? Any predictions?

Chiefs have the home advantage, Brumbies have been traveling quiet a bit lately and had two big physical games against SA teams.

I expect to see a Brumbies side on top of their game I dont actually think the travel will effect them that much certainly not like the sharks last year. The Games against SA teams might have even done them a favour.

Cruden should start practicing his drop goals as if he starts nailing those he might actually have a chance to kick DC to the curb.

Chiefs by 12+ easy

I agree.

Brumbies are lucky to be there.

They were lucky to get past the Cheetahs, who should have beaten them really

They were lucky to get past the Bulls, whose game plan towards the end was, in the words of a Saffa... KAK!

And on top of that, they have the trip back from South Africa.

Can they be that lucky three weeks in a row? I doubt it!

I'd go for the Chiefs by a landslide if I didn't have a sneaking feeling that the Brumbies' luck seems to have no end this season. All in all I think the Crusaders were the best team this season even if they left it late; they don't deserve top spot overall the whole season considered but of the top 5 performances this season they count for 3 of them IMO.

you would think it should be a hard close game but I think the chiefs will take it easy. they just seem to find a way to win and the brumbies will have traveled a lot after doing the round trip AUS -> SA -> NZ in three weeks

very similar situation to last year, chiefs home final after a long time at home against a team that took the hard road to the final and had to travel a lot

I mean how can you bet against the chiefs now? They just beat what was the current form team in the comp.

More money. I actually bet on the Brumbies 4 weeks ago is the date on my ticket, so I'm hoping they come through.

A few factors in this game. Both teams haven't played each other this year in the Super, Chiefs deservedly at home and I think they've both had good preparation. Chiefs having to get pass a good Saders side definitely puts any team in good stead to take it out but I think the Brumbies have had it tough also. Playing in South Africa, although not very convincing, they were tested and triumphed. Apart from their victory over the British Lions, they've gone about their season as quiet achievers.

I think the Chiefs will win too but I hope not.

Maybe it's tima to cash out? It'd be quite a good earning already.

I want to say it will be a big win for the Chiefs, but I also predicted a big win for the Bulls and I don't want to put the prediction curse on the Chiefs. The Brumbies have been very lucky so far... Maybe they used up all their playoffs bad luck last year.

I doubt it will be a big win for the Cheifs but I think they will win they're at home and topped the log it's hard to argue with that but I won't rule out the Brumbies as they've left it late and won in the last 2 weeks.

To cash out I need the Brumbies to win the Super and its quite a good amount. I don't want to say too much as I believe this might jinx my bet :)
You could place a bet for the chiefs now, to have sure earnings. Stick with it if you fancy a Brumbies win though, obviously.
Can I add at what odds your bet was?

Chiefs have struggled against the Oz team's this season... Losing to the Waratahs and the Reds in what were their two arguably worst performances of the season, scraping through in poor conditions against the Force, and dominating the Rebels everywhere but the scoreboard (though that was more to so with dodgy refereeing ). The Chiefs should by all accounts win, but I'm not overly confident or anything. The Brumbies don't have any obvious weaknesses, whereas the Chiefs have looked pretty flakey at times this season.

Does anyone know if the ACT government are playing the game in a public community location? It is Canberra's centenary and it would be fitting to have something arranged. If not, what are peoples thoughts on the best place to watch...

Chiefs by about 30 points I reckon.
Just be a bridge too far for this Brumbies team

I'll be glad if i'm proved wrong though, and it is a close (but well played) game
